The Laurel Foundation, together with the Autism and Developmental Disorders Lab at SFU, co-hosted 3 community events, the themes were: Families and School, Families and Mental Health, Families and Transitions.
The aim of these events was to facilitate discussion among a range of stakeholders, including individuals and their families, researchers, and professionals about important Quality of Life issues. These events were free and open to the public. During the events families were given an opportunity to participate in the ADDL research in ASD & Family Quality of Life lead by Dr Grace Iarocci and Emily Gardner, Doctoral Candidate.
